Summary
A woman's open robe, made from apple green brocaded silk. The silk is brocaded with a floral pattern in pink, pale green, deep mauve, cream, yellow and red, with a half-length sleeve with a matching turned and pleated cuff. The robe is fully lined in linen and fastens centre front with a pale green silk ribbon. The robe has been slightly altered historically, but still retains the shape and style of a gown from this period.
