Summary
A woman's cape made from black cashmere twill and black silk taffeta. The cape has a yoke made from black cashmere twill, with three tiers of black silk taffeta which are decorated with black velvet braid and a black silk fringe. The cashmere yoke is fully lined in black silk brocade and the rest lined with plain black silk taffeta. The cape fastens with two hooks and eyes centre front, intact. A handstitched label sewn into the lining of the cape reads, "Lenox-Conyngham", the donor.
