The dress has a two-tier skirt, with a scalloped edge embroidered in blue thread and matching beetle-wing and metal thread embroidery from hip to hem. The skirt is unlined and the bodice has been relined historically with cream silk, with seven hooks and eyelets centre back for fastening, intact.
