Summary
A mounted piece of wallpaper with 'Trellis' design. This was the second paper designed by Morris in 1862 and available in 1864. The birds were drawn by Philip Webb. a rose trellis bordered the well court and provided inspiration. 'Wattled rose trellises enclosing richly flowered square garden plots'. Morris was particularly fond of the wild rose. Ex-Hollamby.
