Summary
Early C18 8-day long case clock by Thomas Talbott - Nantwich (died 1717). Engraved brass dial with steel blued hands, square calendar aperture above the six. Probably originally a 30-hour converted to 8-day when later movement was fitted. Oak case (base cut down). Full-length door with lenticle opens from right. Barley twist pillars; quarter-twist pillars to the back. No front door to hood. Hood side panels replaced with frosted glass.
