Summary
A mahogany desk chair, English, mid 19th century. Mid 18th century style, having a double pierced and carved back splat, drop in seat and scallop shell carved cabriole leg with pad foot to the front, turned legs to the back continuing to the back supports.
Provenance
Bequest to the National Trust of tapestries, pictures, furniture and objects d'art from Sir Malcolm Stewart in 1960.
