Summary
A joined oak, snakewood, bone and mother of pearl inlaid chest of drawers, English, dated 1662. In two sections, the upper with dentil moulded edge above a narrow frieze drawer and a deep drawer below, the lower with a pair of panelled cupboard doors enclosing three further drawers, raised on block feet. The whole inlaid with mother of pearl and bone, the date inscribed on the fan motifs inlaid into the top drawer.
