Summary
An oak and ash chest on stand, English, circa 1700. The upper section with two short and three long drawers, the stand with three drawers to a shaped apron, raised on turned legs and bun feet tied by shaped stretchers, some alteration to the stand and brassware.
Provenance
Bequest to the National Trust of tapestries, pictures, furniture and objects d'art from Sir Malcolm Stewart in 1960.
