Drug jar (albarello), earthenware with tin-glaze (maiolica), made in Venice, Italy, c. 1575-1600; painted with two bust portraits, both male, in oval reserve panels against a blue ground of scrolling fruit and flowers in green, yellow and ochre, with incised scrolls. (Badly damaged and incomplete.)
