Summary
Quilted linen bedspread backed with heavier linen, wool multicoloured fine crewel work embroidery. Central cornucopia surrounded by floral border, spray of flowers around the side borders with butterflies and insects. Lined with various patches of fine linen and muslin. 'Scalloped' valance roughly sewn along foot edge.
Provenance
Given by Frank Green (1861-1954) to the National Trust in 1933, three years after he had donated the house and most of the contents.
