Summary
An ebony, brass inlaid tortoiseshell and ormolu mounted 'Boulle' commode, French, circa 1720. With three long drawers and a D-shaped grey veined marble top with ormolu cast edge, raised on bracket feet, the whole decorated with arabesque scroll work panels with ormolu corner mounts and brass edging.
Provenance
Given by Frank Green (1861-1954) along with house, garden and contents to the National Trust in 1930.
