Portrait miniature, watercolour on card, Lady Julia Lumley, Lady Conyers attributed to Charles Boit (Stockholm 1662 – Paris 1727). c.1690. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a woman, facing, head slightly turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a blue low-cut dress edged with white. Dark eyes, long black hair over shoulders and with 'brow-horns', pale complexion, touched with red, double chin, aged about 40. Plain grey background,lit from the left.
