Portrait miniature, watercolour on card, Sir Christopher Conyers (1621-1693), attributed to Richard Gibson (Cumberland 1615 – London 1690). c.1670s. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a man, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing armour and white cravat. Blue eyes, grey full-bottomed wig, ruddy complexion, aged about 50. Dark grey background, lit from the right.
