Summary
A figured mahogany and satinwood banded tea table, English, circa 1790. Of canted rectangular shape and opening up to be ten-sided, with purpleheart and tulipwood line inlays, the friezes inlaid with oval and lozenge detail, on square tapering gaitered legs headed with ovals of stylised Prince of Wales feathers in sycamore and harewood, paper label NATIONAL TRUST.
