Summary
A tulipwood, rosewood, mahogany and kingwood banded serpentine bombe commode, French, circa 1750. With a later moulded breccia marble top, above two short flanking a small central drawer and a further two long drawers between projecting angles with bold ormolu mounts, the drawers with elaborate swag ormolu handles and apron mount, on swept feet with sabots, the drawers with blue paper lining, paper label NATIONAL TRUST.
