Summary
One of a set of six mahogany dining chairs, English, circa 1760. Including one open armchair, each with carved wavy toprail and pierced Gothic tracery splat, the generous padded seat now covered in studded yellow leather, on square legs joined by stretchers, the armchair with incurved arm supports and with 'Trevelyan' written in pencil to the seat rail.
