Summary
One of a pair of small plates, the top of the borders with coat-of-arms surrounded by heavy baroque scroll work with winged cupids above. This plate shows a peasant with a large basket on his back resting on a rock, his dog by his side, with gentlemen walking passed a ruined building with a pavement which abuts onto a river.
