Summary
This is the Saucer, for chocolate cup, decorated with bands of gilding, purple and green ribbons winding round a gilt line on a brown ground, having circular and oval vignettes of European birds in branches. The cup may have had a cover at one time. Crowned interlaced 'CC' monogram for the Ducal coronet Charles Eugene, Duke of Wurttemberg, Germany in blue glaze.
