Summary
A teacup and saucer moulded with a scale pattern all over, loop handle, painted with sprays of European flowers (deutsche blumen). Patricia Ferguson of the Gardiner Ceramic Museum, Toronto, notes this item has a crown interlaced 'C' s for the dual coronet of Charles Eugene, Duke of Wurttemberg, Germany and that the moulded pattern is designed by Gottlieb Friedrich Riedel.
