A part creamware dinner service, painted with the Trevelyan crest in brown (two mailed fists) and made for the Rev. George Trevelyan and given to him as a wedding present in 1795 by his friend Josiah Wedgwood. With various impress marks. This is one of two meat dishes or oval serving plate.
