Summary
Large platter, one of three pieces of a Nanking pattern table service, porcelain, deep oval shape with shaped rim, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, 1790-1810; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, painted with a refined mountainous riverscape with pavilions and pagodas, pine trees and boats, the cavetto with a diaper band and another at the rim with a spearhead border.
