Summary

Pair of small wine cups, porcelain, of tub shape with tall narrow foot, probably made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, 18th century; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue; finely painted with naturalistic studies of tree peony and other foliage with insects; the underside with a square seal mark in blue. See also NT 581818 for another in this pattern.
