Summary
Two bowls, porcelain, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, c. 1700-20; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and gold, the exterior with powdered blue ground, and painted in gold with prunus or plum blossom, birds and bamboo, the interior with a flowerhead in iron-red enamel; the underside with a beribboned lozenge one of the Eight Precious Treasures (ba bao) within concentric blue rings.
