Summary
A stone medieval fireplace, 1430–50, located on the second floor great chamber of Tattershall Castle. One of four carved chimney pieces at Tattershall Castle, each topped with crenelations feauring heraldic coats of ams and motifs reflecting good and evil (foliage, animals, wild men and biblical scenes), especially on the cornices and lintels.
