Summary
An oak child's highchair, English, circa 1630. The rectangular back with foliate-carved panel surmounted by an arched crest, punch-marked and with a central incised cross, the downswept arms on turned front columns supports, the plank seat with arcaded frieze rails and raised on elongated turned tapering legs joined by square stretchers and standing on later turned feet.
