Summary
An oak, cherry, snakewood, ebonised, mother-of-pearl and bone inlaid enclosed chest of drawers, English, circa 1670. The plank top with dentil-moulded edge and an inlaid twin-panel frieze drawer, above a pair of geometrically-moulded and raised-panel doors applied with split baluster decoration, enclosing three oak drawers within, standing on bun feet.
Provenance
Originally at Baddesley Clinton, Warwickshire until purchased by Graham Baron Ash in the 1930s.
