Summary
Circular compass face in a Tunbridge Ware mount. Long octagonal mount with stick ware rings at top and base. Thermometer with ivory backing on one side of mount inlaid 'T.BARTON TUNBRIDGE WELLS'. Tessellated mosaic designs on other sides of mount. Mount on a square rosewood plinth with tessellated mosaics around sides. Inscribed - Barton thermometer 170/- C (sticker)
