Summary
Square Tunbridge Ware box with hinged lid. Box veneered with bird's eye maple. Square field in centre of lid with cube design in various woods. Tessellated mosaic border around edge of top of lid depicting stylised foliage. Key hole in front of base, key inside. Interior lined with red paper with gilt tree root pattern. Red leatherette lining on base. Inscribed - Burr maple? 402515 4.15.0 foreign bird's eye maple Tunbridge Ware Box p122 Pinto (label inside)
