Summary

A small kingwood and marquetry bureau plat, French, circa 1750. The serpentine top with a tooled leather surface and ormolu-mounted edge with shell motif at each corner, the friezes with floral marquetry and floral mounts, containing three drawers and opposing dummy drawers, standing on cabriole legs with foliate mounts trailing to sabots.
