Summary
One of a set of three elm and floral marquetry chairs, Dutch, circa 1730-1750. Each with open back and curved, waisted uprights flanking a central solid splat with arched crest, the splat profusely inlaid with an urn of flowers and a bird, the drop-in seat covered with red cut velvet and framed with shaped rails and a pendant centre-point, standing on exaggerated cabriole legs with pointed pad feet and shaped H-stretcher.
