A group of thirty two tin-glazed earthenware tiles with transfer printed decoration in black by Sadler and Green, Liverpool ca 1756-60s.
Provenance
14 original tiles from Sir James Croft's bathroom, 18 given to the Castle through Lord Croft. Several more in situ on the first floor. Ref. 'Country Life' September 12th 1957.
