Lady Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy was the daughter of John Buchan, the novelist of "The Thirty-nine Steps" and Governor-General of Canada and first Lord Tweedsmuir; wife of Sir Brian Fulke Ramsay-Fairfax-Lucy, 5th Baronet, mother to Sir Edmund Fairfax-Lucy. Framed in a simple linen, and wooden gilt frame. Hanging from chains attached to the picture rail.
