Summary
Group of six carved jade seals, Chinese, 18th and 19th centuries, on a later stand, consisting of three seals of the Qianlong Emperor (reigned 1735–96) in spinach-green jade surmounted by coiled dragons clasping pearls, and three seals of the Xianfeng Emperor (reigned 1850–61) of veined black jade surmounted by archaistic crouching dragons, the 20th-century stand of carved wood mounted with yellow velvet, with a metal drawer at the front inscribed with translations of the seals.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896–1966).
