Summary
Striated lavender and white chalcedony double brush holder, carved as 2 bamboo shoots, a phoenix and storks carved in the white skin of the stone, wood stand, possibly late C18. Label on base 'Spink and Son Ltd'.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
