Summary
Limestone, Bacchantes before a herm, British (English) School, c. 1760-99. A stone relief tablet depicting three bacchantes making a floral offering to a herm of Pan at right. The relief is severely eroded.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
