Sculpture, white marble on lapis-lazuli base, Reclining Putto with Bird, French School. Mid 18th century. One of a pair of white marble putti, naked, reclining, with bird (tail broken), (the other with grapes), on lapis lazuli base.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
