Silver vase-shaped tea-urn, square plinth engraved on stem with 'Fortitude', body decorated with drapery festoons with 4 goat's masks, rising handles at the shoulder and lion's mask spout, the cover with a ball finial engraved with motif and 'Fortitude'. Ivory tap with coat-of-arms above tap. George III by John Parker and Edward Wakelin, 1771. Hallmark.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
