Summary
Pair of silver 2-light candelabra, each on scrolling triangular base chased with flowers and foliage and spirally fluted baluster stem with flowers at shoulders and floral vase-shaped sockets with detachable nozzles (?nozzles missing). Top of stem engraved with coat-of-arms, as on branches. George II by Paul de Lameire 1748. Each with 2 foliage branches with central flower finials with vase-shaped sockets and wax pans with pierced flower and shell borders engraved with coat-of-arms, possibly Daniel Piers 1757. Hallmarked.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
