Summary
Silver gilt standing cup and cover, shaped circular foot chased as natural ground and stem formed as oak tree supporting the shaped bowl chased with a double coat-of-arms, and another of 3 lions, surrounded by scrolls and flowers. Cover surmounted by 3 lions and palm branch. Interior with latin inscription, dated 1760, German-Augsburg.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
