Summary
Silver gilt wine fountain on octafoil lobedfoot chased with scrollwork and bracketed stem supporting spirally fluted octafoil bowl with bracketed stem above with numerous jets and tulip-shaped reservoir with tap to regulate the flow. German, Nuremburg c.1650. Makers mark ?FF.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
