Lakeside village, lake on the left on which there is a sailing boat and a paddleboat and other small vessels, on the right, a road leading from the far right to the centre, on the right is an upturned boat with a figure beside it, a few more figures on the roadway which leads a small lakeside village with rows of houses, layered up a hillside; beyond a hill and at the far left at the end of the lake hillside scenery, blue sky with clouds. Perhaps a view in Scotland.
