Summary
Oil painting on panerl, Spaniel with Dead Game and a Gun in a Landscape by British (English) School, 19th century. Landscape with white and tan spaniel on the right, turned to the right, head turned to the left, dead game, including a hare lying on a gun, two pheasants hanging from a gnarled tree on the left, woodcock and duck, in the foreground on the centre left is a powder flask, a tower on a hill in the background on the right, blue sky with clouds.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
