Fox on the left, running down a hill followed by hounds and three huntsmen in full cry down a hill, a wooden stile and fence in the centre foreground, low shrubs and sparse trees, a distant view to the far left at the bottom of the hill, blue cloudy sky.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
