Summary
Oil painting on panel, Horses Watering, British (English) School, 19th century. In the centre, two horses at the water’s edge, a boy on the grey horse which is drinking. Two men bathing on the right. A woman and child walking on a path on the left, beneath a gnarled tree. Distant landscape with a village in the middle distance.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
