Oil painting on panel, The Garden of St Cloud, Sunday, 10th September, 1815, by Amelia Long (Wormley 1762 - Bromley 1837), 1815. Lady Farnborough. Large gathering of figures and soldiers under an avenue of trees, river on left with cavalry on bank, tents under trees. Gilt frame. Label on back 'Capps, Carver and Gilder, Foley Street, Portland Place'.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
