Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Woodcock Shooting (Two Men with Three Dogs) by Samuel John Egbert Jones (fl.1820 – 1855). Two guns stalking with three pointers at the endge of a wood, one of whom has just shot a woodcock which is falling left. Label on frame 'S.J.E. Jones'.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
