Summary
Bronze bell, rim cast with scrolls and with inscription 'This bell given by Mr Brown to Jackfield Church Shropshire in 1766, was placed here in 1934'. Bell by Thomas Rudhall of Gloucester, 1766. Note B (995Hz). Hung in an oak gallows frame.
Provenance
Made by Thomas Rudhall of Gloucester in 1766 and originally at Jackfield Church, Shropshire. Acquired for Anglesey in 1934. Part of the Fairhaven Collection. The house and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1966 by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)
