Summary
Bronze sculpture, Lion with Medallion, Italian (Venetian) School, 2nd half of 18th century. Lion cast in solid bronze, with protruding tongue, resting left foreleg on medallion with laurel wreath, engraved with monogram, mounted as doorstop.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents
