Summary
A mahogany framed and needlepoint upholstered open library armchair, English, circa 1770 With half padded and down swept arms, the padded back and seat with scenes of narcissus raised on square section legs with spandrels and joined by a stretchers, brass casters.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
