Summary
Watercolour on paper, Windsor from the River by John Glover (Houghton-on-the-Hill 1767 – Launceston, Tasmania 1849). Fisherman in boat and on near bank, castle beyond. Label on mount and label on reverse 'John Glover 1767-1849. Exhibited at the Exhibiton of British Art, Burlington House 1934, British Drawings at Bucharest 1936, British Drawings at Prague 1936 and British Drawings at Vienna 1936'. Mounted on card.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
